Having to watch paltry men try to reach positions of power. The names of great leaders and those that are not.
Questioning what is in a name.
Questioning what is in a name.
Cavorting across the ways to Fame
Milt and Newt such silly names
To inch along the path to fame
What's in a name you ask in vain
For there is no answer to that
Napolean, Caesar now those are names
Of inspiration, power
And acclaim
Again you ask
What's in a name
And once more
I say to you I do not know
Perhaps the energy itself
Will show
Its secret
Now we sit and watch
These silly men cavort
Across the stage
And talk nonentities
Their paltry efforts
Going nowhere
May be as so many before
They should just get up
And leave the floor
To those who think and do
Good things
For that is what has made
Our Kings
Well maybe not
To inch along the path to fame
What's in a name you ask in vain
For there is no answer to that
Napolean, Caesar now those are names
Of inspiration, power
And acclaim
Again you ask
What's in a name
And once more
I say to you I do not know
Perhaps the energy itself
Will show
Its secret
Now we sit and watch
These silly men cavort
Across the stage
And talk nonentities
Their paltry efforts
Going nowhere
May be as so many before
They should just get up
And leave the floor
To those who think and do
Good things
For that is what has made
Our Kings
Well maybe not
